I finally made it to San Francisco last night, about two hours later than scheduled. A
The flight was fairly uneventful, which is surprising because we had been warned that it would probably be bumpy because of strong winds. I slept for about half the flight finished up some reading for class and then worked on a project for awhile before a smooth, beautiful landing in San Francisco.

After a brief, unpleasant encounter with a jerk who worked at the rental car companyI was on my way to the hotel. I arrived, got settled in, did a couple of things for work, and headed to bed.

Today is a g-o-r-g-e-o-u-s day in San Francisco and that is a good thing because today's fair is outside. Parking was a little bit of a mess this morning, but I made it finally and now get to enjoy a nice day, some good comapny, and the opportunity to meet some really great students.
